Join Susan Lenz in an introduction to heat-activated processes for contemporary fibers.  Susan will share her unique melting techniques and will guide participants through experimentation with painted adhesives, metallic foiling, household irons, soldering irons, hand stitching and free motion machine embroidery, utilizing a variety of fibers. This 3 day HOT workshop includes all the materials and supplies needed to create a finished, matted original fiber work.

Kit fee: $20 Paid to teacher first day of class. Participants are only asked to provide their own scissors if they don’t want to use the ones provided ... which aren’t particularly sharp! Participants do not need to provide any materials, tools, or equipment beyond their own scissors.
