Slow Light commemorates the Museum's fifteenth anniversary and invites reflection on the importance of its setting within a historic barn. Featuring works by contemporary fiber artists from across the United States, the exhibition explores how fiber art can illuminate our understanding of surrounding architectural spaces.
Liz Alpert Fay: Ordinary/Extraordinary Women

Ordinary/Extraordinary Women represents the culmination of more than a decade of dedicated work by rug hooker Liz Alpert Fay, created to honor the women who have significantly influenced her life and artistic practice. The collection features seventeen life-size and larger hooked portraits depicting Alpert Fay’s daughter, friends, and other key influences.
Rebound, Renew, Reimagine: Quilts from the Manhattan Quilters Guild

The Manhattan Quilters Guild presents new works that commemorate the transition to post-pandemic life. This project was initiated to highlight the resurgence of personal interactions and the renewal of activities previously restricted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each participating artist produced a quilt for the exhibition, with each piece defined by a title beginning with the prefix “re.”
