Shop Our Stash

SOS (Shop Our Stash) will open in 2026 on the museum grounds, in the Blacksmith Shop building.

Donation intake days:

Friday, Dec. 5 and Saturday, Dec. 6; 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
Friday, Dec. 12 and Saturday, Dec. 13; 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Once open, SOS will be open Thursday, Friday, Saturday 11am - 3pm

What Can I Donate?

  • Fabric - bolts, yardage, fat quarters, scraps

  • Small tools - crochet hooks, knitting needles, hoops, scissors, etc.

  • Needlework, weaving, embroidery and beading supplies

  • Yarn - variety of types and colors

  • Unfinished Fiber Objects - UFOs

  • Interfacing and Batting

  • Notions and Thread

  • Vintage linens

  • Books

What Can I NOT Donate?

  • Sewing machines in cabinets

  • Quilting machines

  • Table or floor looms

  • Spinning wheels

  • Magazines

  • Dirty, moldy, or smoke-damaged items

  • Broken or non-working tools

  • Open or unopened dyes/dye supplies

  • Upholstery and home decor fabric samples
