Shop Our Stash Fiber Resale Shop Opening at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts
The Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts (WMQFA) is excited to launch a new fiber arts resale shop, Shop Our Stash (SOS). Located inside the restored Blacksmith Shop on the museum’s grounds, Shop Our Stash lets fiber art enthusiasts shop for new treasures and find homes for items they no longer need.
Building on the museum’s popular Fiber Arts Rummage Sale, held each June (June 11-13, 2026), Shop Our Stash offers a year-round opportunity to repurpose materials no longer needed while obtaining new-to-you materials, keeping items out of landfills and offering opportunities for great deals while serving the museum’s mission. All items in the shop have been donated to the museum for sale, and all proceeds benefit WMQFA’s exhibitions, programs, and activities.
Donations of fabric, small fiber arts tools; needlework, weaving, embroidery, and beading supplies; yarn; unfinished fiber projects; interfacing and batting; notions and thread; vintage linens; and fiber art related books are welcome.
SOS will be open Fridays & Saturdays, 11am-2pm. Shoppers may stop in anytime during open hours. Those wishing to make donations may bring up to two bags of items during open hours. For those with more items to donate, bequests of items, or who are cleaning out their sewing rooms and work spaces, please make an appointment by emailing ShopOurStash@wiquiltmuseum.com.
Shop Our Stash’s grand opening & ribbon cutting will be held on Friday, March 20, from 2:30-4pm, just in time for National Quilting Day on March 21.
