Infinite Ivory and Blue on Exhibit February 6 - April 16, 2020

Infinite Ivory and Blue presents stunning examples of blue and white works from the museum’s collection. Quilts, woven coverlets, lace, Ikats, and wearables envelope the viewer in a world of blue and white. Unveiling significant works from the museum’s vault, the exhibition features one of the oldest quilts in the collection alongside a stunning array of indigo-dyed quilts and coverlets from the nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries.

On Wisconsin Fiber Arts Biennial on Exhibit November 21, 2019 - February 2, 2020

On Wisconsin Fiber Arts Biennial at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts (WMQFA) presents the museum’s fourth fiber arts biennial. Open to all artists who call Wisconsin “home,” this call-for-entries exhibition, the fourth in the museum’s history, invited artists to submit an original two- or three-dimensional fiber-based work created in the last three years. Taken together, these works speak to the breadth and quality of fiber arts being created by Wisconsin artists today.
