Class Description: NO RULERS! NO MEASURING! NO PINNING! NO BATTING!
Size: 18′′ x ??′′ (You choose!) There is enough fabric in a kit to make TWO long runners that are custom length! The colors will keep overlapping... to infinity! Free yourself from rulers when you cut these free-form waves and layer them raw-edge on a foundation. This forgiving technique uses the beautiful gradations of Cherrywood to its advantage creating a simple, but effective modern quilt.

Kit: - (Infinity pattern. Cherrywood 8-step gradation fat quarters. MistyFuse 2.5 yards.)

Foundation Fabric- You will need 22" x 72" for each runner. You can get TWO runners from a 2-yard piece of muslin or discarded fabric.
Backing Fabric - 2 Yards.
Goddess Sheet or Parchment Paper. Fabric scissors. Thread to match fabric for topstitching.
Rotary Cutter with a new blade.
Large cutting mat.
TWO bath towels to create an ironing surface.
Chalk wheel (optional).
Sewing Machine.
About Karla Overland:
Karla Overland is the owner of Cherrywood Hand Dyed Fabrics in Baxter, Minnesota. She is the “colorist” who creates all the dye formulas and gradations of the gorgeous trademark bundles. Karla has a degree in Graphic Design which she applies to all aspects of Cherrywood; web and print design, color theory, marketing, pattern design, and The Cherrywood Challenge. She has self-published nine books and over a dozen patterns. Cherrywood travels all over the U.S. vending at quilt shows where Karla also gives presentations and teaches classes. She has taught at the Australasian Quilt Festival in Melbourne, Australia, and organized a bus tour of The Netherlands, Belgium and France for The Van Gogh Challenge.
