Workshop Description:

"In this 'hands-on' workshop students will learn the techniques from Lori's Book, "Speedy Solutions to Cut & Organize Your Scrap Stash." Each student will bring a tub of scraps from their stash and will learn to get those scraps ready to be used in beautiful quilts! Lori will teach her cutting, sorting, storing & organizing solutions, plus the student will learn tips & tricks on how to "pull scraps" from her OWN stash to create beautiful quilt patterns (See Lori's "Speedy Solutions Patterns" book!)

Kit (book) fee: $20 "Speedy Solutions to Cut/Organize your Scraps" BOOK Or, save $5 and get the Book SET, which also includes the "Speedy Solutions Patterns book"; Both Books for $45."

Recommended skill level for participants: Beginners to Advanced

About Lori Dickman:


Lori Dickman is an educator, an author, and a pattern designer. Playing with fabric and color has been her passion for over 50 years, and teaching others to join in on this sewer’s/quilter’s journey is near and dear to her heart! The art of “Making” has been a wonderful creative journey for her.

Lori was a presenter/teacher in the 2021 through 2024 Great Wisconsin Quilt Shows. She has taught at the American Quilters Society Show in Paducah Kentucky in 2024 and 2025.

Additionally, Lori has taught/is teaching at the Gulf States Quilting Assn, QuiltFest Virtual Schoolhouse, and on the Canada/New England Quilt Cruise, Western Caribbean Quilt Cruise and Charleston South Carolina SewCation with Stitchin’ Heaven Quilt Shop Travel.
