Description: Join the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts for a free, hands-on community event to make and donate cozy wool mittens using repurposed sweaters for Family Sharing of Ozaukee County. Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome to help create pairs of warm, high-quality wool-and-fleece mittens to benefit local families in need. Enjoy a fun and collaborative atmosphere while making a difference in your community this winter!
Registration is not required; however, it is appreciated as it assists us in preparation.
Skill Level: All levels, from novice to expert sewists, welcome
Ages: All ages welcome, if under 16 must have a guardian present
Please note that all mittens made at the event will be donated to Family Sharing of Ozaukee County.
